Wisdom is power
I hereby challenge myself to NOT make one single judgement on anyone for even a day!!!! (I will be listening carefully to my thoughts!!!)
Last night I read a book for school and as I read I thaught about my friends …then it started….one text, than another and today a third friend…they are all asking whats up with me…I have gone underground…I almost feel guilty but i have no time to see anyone right now its like stuff to do every day….I have decided to stop judge,,,,,anyone for anything….one day then two and so on….my next step to being me…wish me luck…
You cannot harm anyone, you only harm YOURSELF. For example, if you intentionally try to harm someone, you’re only sending those negative vibes to YOURSELF. The negative vibes then attracts bad situations in your life.
We judge so automatically that it’s very hard to stop doing that – however, to want to – to choose to, as you are can be very powerful. However, if we start by becoming aware of our judgments – watch them, notice them – without judgment of ourselves (very important – and takes much practice!) is more effective, more gentle and can be sustained. Gradually those ‘judgments’ become just thoughts thatwe notice and then can choose to believe them or not, let go of them – or just watch them and they lose their power – this is Mindfulness.

So glad you found my note helpful. Your diary post certainly caught my attention and I wish you luck. Be kind and gentle with yourself on this journey – this really is ‘the road less travelled’ and people’s reactions can be surprising – others can feel threatened and they may respond accordingly – and this in turn creates so many more ‘opportunities for forgiveness/watching our responses/judgments’.
