muahaha! That’s right folks. I’ve been in the mood to download lots of music fromt he internet instead of porn. and boy has this music been worth it. I’ve mostly been getting indie bands but I’m happy with most of what I’ve gotten. stuff I’ve downloaded is as follows:

– Holy crap! This band surprised me with how good they are! thumbs up!
– Well this just isn’t what I expected… not my speed.
– Yay! I like this!!!11
– FUCKIN A! These people make me want to pee my pants. this band RAWKS!
– Well I dunno. I haven’t listened to this yet.
– OMGWTFBBQ? they had SUCH AN AWESOME NAME! Why do they have 29 minute songs of improv? how come it’s all slow? they had such potential!
You know… lots of times I like to daydream about being able to time travel. not for the normal crappy reasons but because I want to see how people in the medieval era would actually react to our music… I wonder if they’d like it? would the minstrels be able to catch on and accompany me by ear? I’d totally learn to play thier instruments and sing thier songs and then I’d put 21st century twists on it. I’d probably pretend that I came from a distant country. I’d love to see how they notate music back then and read it… I might have to learn some of their dances too. I wonder how they’d react to "I Miss You" by Incubus or "No Surprises" by Radiohead. might be fun trying to explain modern concepts to them. like a landfill. And even if they didn’t understand anything else I did, would music still be one thing we could communicate with with? Is it the same to them as it is to us? Or has its fundamental purpose changed? anyway. yeah. I think about these sort of things a lot.
so uh, you donÂ’t like godspeed you! back emperor then? okay, thatÂ’s cool. and apostle of hustle features feist and a lot of the members of broken social scene so i thought iÂ’d throw them in there too. but they are a hard band to get into. donÂ’t listen to fallout boy. not worth your time. basically they sound like p!atd but without the awesome synth. LAME.

the rasmus – they are two years old but good stuff though and yes Panic! at the disco is AWESOME!! You’ll like fallout boy too. Infact I heard a song by panic and thought it was patrick stump (singer of fallot boy singing with some other band) but listen to FOB’s second album take this to your grave it way better than from under the cork tree. YOu should know who this is if not then I’ll a hint

Now, I can see a band making you pee your pants… but making you WANT to pee your pants? Now thats a heckuva band! I don’t think I have it in me to say “pee my pants” over anything. But “melt my butter” that conjures a similar but much more pleasing sensation. As in ‘your voice melts my butter’. hehe. I should stop noting now and go to bed. Let’s just blame it on the Bailey’s and Kahlua.
