Musings. I have lots of them. I don’t know exactly where to begin, and I can’t promise any of them are going to make sense. But I feel like I need to make a record.

Two days ago, my mother informed me that the doctors found that my stepfather’s got a swollen lymph node on his groin. They are scheduling a Biopsy for him to make sure that it isn’t any kind of Cancer. If it is… well, I don’t know how I’ll feel. I’ll probably shut down for a while, and take it in. I just hope it isn’t cancer. That’s all I can really do.  I’m not overly religious, but I have been asking the higher powers to keep a look out for him.

I have one last night to stay with the dogs I’m sitting for. I can’t say I’m not excited to be going home. Things have been pretty uneventful here the last couple of days.

Had had my first full Ketogenic meal today. Hoping to continue on this road now to see what happens. No more cheating for me. I’m gonna do this. That’s one of the other things I’ve been stressing about. But I’m working on it. It didn’t help that I got a lot of wrong information to start with. Thankfully I have my brother who pointed me in the right direction. It really doesn’t help to be around all the foods I’m not supposed to be eating on this new lifestyle plan.

But I am working on it. I have a few things i need to ask the one group I am in. They might be able to give me some pointers. Once I’m not busy and preoccupied with babysitting dogs, I’ll be able to focus on getting this done right.

Speaking of things that I need to focus on, Mom’s found out about my Creative Writing classes. She’s not happy at all about the price tag of 50.00 a month. So I need to really get those done. My plan is to finish both my last two classes by the end of this month so I can just focus on Capstone. Then I’ll be able to cancel Coursera and pay things off. (Meaning my PayPal Credit line. I don’t plan to get rid of it, but i want to get it paid down so that I’m not over limit on so many of my credit cards. (I got below credit limit on Fingerhut,  and Credit One, and I’m also below credit limit on Hot Topic) I just need to get better control of the other two.

That being said, gonna have to turn off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to actually listen to the lectures for the next two weeks and work on the assignments for my Style class.
