NoJoMo 2: Insomnia

Shorter one today as I have a damn headache all day and just now realized it was 10pm and the headache is basically gone but not entirely and staring at a computer screen is probably not the best idea.

I am watching a tape of the Sunday night football game and Al Michaels, talking about a sack, says "Now that is a facial!"  Um…..

I hope you all voted today.  I did a couple weeks ago, absentee of course.  Even if you are voting for someone who I think is crazy you should vote.  

Today I had the pool to myself as my boss, who is the main teacher for the youngest kids is off in the Canary Islands on vacation for a couple of weeks.  So I had them alone, both the third and fourth grade and I think I drove them harder than even she does, and she can be pretty rough on them.  In a nice way.  We figured out that we only have actually around 4 hours each year in which to teach these kids how to swim, which is something we are supposed to do by fourth grade.  So we have to push them pretty hard to make the most of what time we have.  Anyway, I pushed them hard.  The fourth grade was exhausted by the time I got done with them, but we made some big steps for a couple of them.  And I had two third graders who took the swim test to swim in the deep end and passed.  One of those girls was scared to get in the water last year.

Tomorrow or the next day I am going to start a several entry series of my musical history starting with probably KISS and ending now.  Should be fun and embarrassing and illuminating.  But today I am just gonna slap up some randomness.
