Keep Yourself Warm
So last weekend I started looking at mobile phones. My phone was ok, but I wanted something that could surf the internet a bit better and something that integrate my gmail account. I was looking at different ones and then on Monday came an ad for one of the electronic shops here. They had an HTC Wildfire for 50 bucks and then you pay 12 dollars a month, plus phone charges (about 7 cents a minute to call and 7 cents per text message) plus data charges (you can get 500MB a month for about 12 dollars.). So on Tuesday I got one. And then on Wednesday, the lovely Wife ordered one in red, since she was so taken with it. So now we are truly wired, even more than before (seriously, this house is filled with computers and electronics). Here is a picture of it:
It’s an Android phone and I love it. We were at the cabin over the weekend and it was awesome to be able to upload photos to Facebook and send gmail chats to my brother. Opendiary is awesome to view on mobile so perhaps I will even update a little more often, from anywhere.
And speaking of the cabin, what is up with ticks? Sara got one yesterday even though they were barely outside and even so she was fully clothed because it is autumn. They just love her, apparently. Here is a phone pic of the cabin from yesterday:
The colors are changing now and it is getting darker earlier.
Got a lot of stuff to do today, like laundry and cleaning and waiting for football to come on. So for now I leave you with one of my new favorite bands, Frightened Rabbit.
Zaphod
Enjoy your new phone.

You have to get TiKL for it. Push-to-talk with any other user who has it. Sadeek and I use it all day long! 😀

I don’t know what I would do without my smart phone! I spend more time on it than on a normal computer.
