 real life is like a stream

we all have a set destination

everything starts here and ends there

and we all have a set path

nothing about fate is fair

free will but not free choice?

the ability to agonize over the future

but not change where life may lead?

i, for one, call bullshit on fate

there is a set beginning and a set ending

but the middle section, the meat of the matter,

is self.

cook it up how you like it and dig in.
