Nights

I’m working nights this weekend, which I actually quite enjoy, apart from I want to be going out having lots of fun and dancing…

This started because on Thursday night (night off) I sat chatting to Marc online, from work, who was playing me music over a radio internet link.  It was fab. We spent five hours chatting, dancing, drinking online… It was bizarre. I’ve done the whole internet chatroom thing, which I loved, but this time it was a guy I actually knew, and think it quite cute.  😉  It was as if we were actually together dancing, drinking and laughing, not just sat in separate houses… odd, but tons of fun!!   Marc keeps commenting on my facebook profile and he even came into my office last night to say hi and tell me about some new music he’s got.  Was nice.  Made me smile.

Work was fairly busy last night, Ian (my work partner) and I just took the piss out of each other and had a laugh, despite being really tired.  I told him about Dom being mad because he thought I’d told people about us sleeping together (which I didn’t).  Ian asked why Dom would be cross I’d told people… I said "well, would you be happy if people knew I’d slept with you?"  (Metaphorical obviously, Ian is Jenny’s fella and I’d never sleep with him)  He said, "ah, don’t be daft, it’s certainly not that"  Which is the closest thing to a compliment I’ll ever get from Ian, so that was nice. 

Still not heard from Dom or Channie.  No loss there.

Slept most of today.  Only got up because I had to cook for my team tonight.  We’re having enchilladas… I hope they’re ok. 

Trying to decide whether or not to go to Lisa’s wedding do.  After the whole falling out episode, she’s invited me to the night do.  But not the hen night, which is this weekend.  I don’t know if I should go. I was supposed to be maid of honour, but now I’m just going to be a guest at the evening do, who didn’t even go on the hen do…  I mean, I know I’m never gonna be best friends again, like we were, but there was a part of me that thought after we made up things would be different. Argh… I’ll think about it…

 Back in work at 9pm tonight, til 7am.  Fingers crossed something exciting happens! I love a bit of drama at work! 🙂
