Busy Day

Last night, for Joe’s birthday, went down to the pub.  Had half a pint and couldn’t drink any more! Was gutted 🙁  Ah well, cheap night out because it meant I could drive home. Saved a fortune!

Went to see Janette and baby Ethan this morning.  He’s gorgeous. Jay seems so grown up now.  I mean, I’ve only known her as an adult, but she seem so at home being a Mum, I’m really happy for her! 🙂

Went for a bikini wax today.  No real pain, until she put cream on to "soothe" it… bloody hell, that stung to high heavens!!!!  The things women go through…

Pizza Hut with Jenny and the kids for tea.  Fun but hard work. Her kids have really started playing up.  Little buggers!!

Then this evening, been to see My Sister’s Keeper with Charli.  I bawled my eyes out!! I’ve read the book so knew what to expect, but didn’t expect it to follow the book so closely. It was amazing.  So moving!!

In better news….  I’m going camping next weekend with Mike…  Not my ex Mike, He’s a guy I met at the ball a couple of years ago and we’ve kept in touch via facebook. We have so much in common and he ticks all my boxes!!!

• Drives and has a car (and a campervan)

• Makes me laugh
• Likes watersports (canoeing, etc!!)

So all in all, he’s a great guy.  We’re only going as friends, but will keep you posted on how it goes. I’m proper excited about it though.  He’s picked a gorgeous campsite for us to go to, which has a lake, which we plan on swimming in and has loads of activities and a bar.  He’s bringing some Somerset cider for me to drink round the bbq too.  I’m so excited!!!! Only a week to wait! lol… Keep you posted
