Following the death of my Granma, the house has now been sold and the estate has been divided.

Unfortunately, as much as I loved my Granma, she was a nasty piece of work and tried to cause trouble all through her life and continued it well into her death.

My Granma has three kids, mum, uncle and auntie. So like a normal person would expect, the will should have been split three ways. But no. Granma cut mum out of the will and divided the final third five ways, between me and my cousins. Excluding my brother.

I’ve split my share with my brother, because he’s as much part of the family as I am. It’s disgusting that my mum and brother haven’t been included so I’m trying to do my bit.

Unfortunatley it’s really upset my mum (understandably) and whilst I offered her my share (which she doesn’t need, so refused) it doesn’t make it better that my uncle hasn’t even bothered with her.

I know deaths in families cause trouble, but this is awful. Luckily it has just made me,my mum, dad and brother closer than ever.
