Thursday, 9/8/12.

Jamie’s covering my shift today as I did his Friday last week, so I’m enjoying a day off. 

I had my interview for the support worker job this morning and I think it went well, although I thought that about the Sue Ryder job and never heard back, so we’ll see. I’ve filled out an employment form which I’ll send back tomorrow and once they’ve received it I should hopefully find out within the next two weeks if I’ve got the job or not. 

We’ve got the carpet for the bedroom being fitted this afternoon between 3-4pm so I’m just waiting for the van to turn up now.

I won some parmesan cheese! Hahaha. Forgot I’d even entered my name to be honest, but that got delivered today so there we go, free cheese. I also got a couple more coupons for Copella and some Breathe Right nose strips. God bless you, freebies.

Going round to Thorpe’s mum’s tonight for dinner and to see the family. The girls are so cute!

Oh, yesterday since I forgot to write; I worked 9:30 – 5:30 and didn’t do anything interesting when I got home. Woo.

ETA: I got the job! I got a phone call about 20 minutes ago saying I’d really impressed them and they’d like to take me on. YESSSS 😀
Only thing is, they’re desperate for me to start my training on Monday otherwise I’d have to wait a month for the next session but I’m contracted at Tesco and I doubt Duncan will let me go on such short notice, so I’m going to go in either tonight or tomorrow for my shift and explain the situation and hope that either I can hand my notice in and do the hours over the weekend or swap the Monday shift to another day of the week. Eeeeee! 😀 😀 😀
