Thursday, 7/6/12.

I HATE DECORATING 

Seriously. All was going well, the walls look lovely, the skirting boards are done, so I get around to doing a last layer of paint around the window and the paint starts flaking away and taking the sealant with it. RAAAAGE. I’ve chipped away the worst parts and the plan is to fill the edges with sealant tonight, grout the paint-less part of the wall tomorrow and then paint over it Sunday. I’m praying it’ll look decent enough because I cannot be arsed with this any more. How has it taken 6 months and god knows how much money to paint a sodding bedroom?!

I’ve been so busy with decorating this morning that it’s now 2:15pm and I have work at 4pm so I’ll probably just bung a pizza in the oven, finish getting ready, eat and then it’ll be time to leave. 

Still raining at Download. I think they got a couple of hours of sunshine late yesterday evening though, so hopefully there’ll be more to come. Apparently people are still queueing outside campsites because the stewards are refusing to open certain ones until Friday despite all the others being full, so I damn well hope Thorpe managed to get a pitch yesterday. 

My fourth Graze box came – not as impressed with this one. My next one is free but I’ll be cancelling my subscription after that.
