Kathy Klages

People have always said that I should be a model every since I could remember because I am so skinny. So when I was around 20 I decided to look for a modeling agency. I looked in the phone book at the different modeling agencies in Chicago. I found Modeling Unlimited, a agency headed by this lady named Kathy Klages. I called and made an appointment to meet with Kathy.

The next day I drove into the city and had a great meeting with Kathy. She said that I had a great face and body  for modeling in comnmercial print and all I had to do was pay $500 for a photo shoot. Back then I didnt have the money, so I said I would call her later. Well, it took me about three years before I called Kathy back again. I was busy with school and I had joined the Army Reserves so I never had the time to catch up with Kathy and start my modeling portfolio. But finally after three years, I called Kathy back . I had always kept Kathy in mind because she seemed legit and she had a nice big office downtown in Chicago. So we met again and I scheduled a photo shoot for later that week. I arrived at the photo shoot and was surprise to see no one there but just Kathy and I. The $500 dollars I paid covered 3 outfits, hair and makeup for the shoot. Kathy did my makeup (which was just lipstick and eyeliner) and picked my 3 outfits from the clothes I brought. Kathy then took my pictures with a regular camera. I was surprised because I thought that a professional photographer would be there but I dismissed it because I was new to the industry.

After the shoot ,Kathy told me that it would take one week at the most for my pictures to come back. IT HAS BEEN THREE WEEKS AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM KATHY KLAGES. No phone call, emails , NOTHIN!!  She wont return my phone calls or my emails. I have called and threatened to take her to court to get my money back! I gave her $500 dollars for pictures I did not get. 

*Update* Kathy called me the very next day after I threatened to take her to court she claimed she left me a message that my pics were ready. I never got such a message. Anyway, Monday Im suppose to go look at my pics so that she can market me to various commercial print catalogues in the Chicagoland Area. Wish me luck. Its always been a dream of mine to model.
