Precocious
I GOTTA save this…. why am I underlined?
I have mailed a check in the amount of FIVE DOLLARS on Tuesday, March 2nd. Please keep vigil of its’ arrival as I express my gratitude for your assistance in a time a profound blight of sorrow that has befallen our family, with the death of the last patriarch. Please know that I somehow feel entitled to another complimentary issue and an invitation to subscribe. My family has paid for many trees to create your publication and when they pass you should grieve with the community for losing another regional historian. Your family and my family, our ancestors have sweat and bled on this lands of Arkansas county nigh on some three centuries now and we must hold true to these sacred bonds of our people. Though I have moved away, I have never left DeWitt. I never shall. As I wrote in my high school poetry assignment for the great and wonderful Dianne Cunningham…. DeWitt IS a dragon. It’s fire consuming us way beyond the known reaches of this life.
With gratitude and pretension I bid thee prosperity in all endeavors.
