Obstacles are things you see when you take ..
your eyes off the goal.
My pappa tells the story about how Mahatma Gandhi was thrown off of a train in Africa for being "colored", and while lying on the train platform in the freezing cold all night, he thought and thought of what an injustice it all was. And lying there on that platform is how he got the vision and internal strength to fight for the cause which ultimately led to India’s independence.
Metaphorically speaking, my work day yesterday was like being thrown off the train and I spent most of the day today building the strength I need to go on and prove myself in this place. The details are a lot to explain but I basically cried at work yesterday, (not in front of anyone jerky thank god) but to this lady who is a friend and harmless. But anyway, I am learning a lot about myself and how to deal with jerks and how everybody is out for themself in the work place. And what I need to do to survive in this company. I am building thick skin . I guess it’s important.
Maybe I’ll write out the details later on …
I also had my new cell phone that i got 2 weeks ago stolen.
Things in general have just been a bit rough for me lately.
Praying for strength and wisdom…
Thanks a lot for the wishes and I hope you are feeling a lot better too :-). Incidents like that can happen at the workplace but the worst thing is you never know who to believe but I am glad you know what to do now and building thick skin lol. Take care friend.
