Goings on

Life is Good.

I am graduating on May 20th. 

Firstly, God answers prayers:

1. I got an internship this summer! Alyssa got one at the same place! We are super excited and we are looking for an apartment in the North Shore for this summer.

2. Kyle got into grad school.

3.  I got into Columbia, Northwestern, BU and (Upenn) for my masters.  I am thinking of going to Columbia.

Senior project ended quite well.  My oral presentation came in 13th out of 70.  Collins even came up to me after to congratulate me and wish me good luck.  Mike said he was proud of me.  It was all very nice to hear esp given the amount of trauma that shiznizz put me through.  I supposse, all is well that ends well, right? 

D was suppossed to come visit me on Saturday and stay the whole week, but last Tuesday he had to go to the emergency room because of kidney stones.  Apparently that stuff hurts a lot.  He then had to drink lots of water and wait for it to pass. It passed yesterday so he might come tomorrow or Wednesday?

I just got home from getting my eyebrows threaded at a place on Newbury Street. 
The eybrows only took 10 minutes but after that I walked all the way from the start of Newbury to very close to the end of it.  Just walking and soaking up the sun.  It is an absolutely beautiful day out.  I went into H&M and put a shirt and these white hoops from So Good jewlery.  It was nice to walk down the street alone and be content with myself and be at peace.  It is a rare feeling, indeed.

I have this last week to basically do nothing but hang out.

I have been doing a lot of hanging out:

Thursday, I hung out with Nicole, Shagun, and Payal.
Friday, I went to eat pani puris with Varun and Kyle.  Then, I went to this Jazz club with Prity.
Saturday, I went to downtown crossing and shopped with Vidhya and then I went to Tido and Carrie’s apartment and had dinner then we went to see Hot Fuzz!
Sunday, I had lunch with Kyle and Jason. Then, I sat out on the Bu Beach with Kyle for an hour.  Then, Alyssa and I looked at apartments.  Then, I went to mass with Jason and Then, D ordered cpk for me and we watched Tara rum pum (we as in , started it at the same time and had the phone on)

All in all, this week has been full of lot of catching ups and goodbyes.
I cannot believe that I am going to leave this place so soon.  I am just trying to take it all in- charishing every moment of it and being thankful for everything I have. 

I am going to go outside and take some pictures of my campus- for memories sake.  I’ll post them later if I figure out how to post things on here.
