Alcohol

I find myself wanting to rant about alcohol today.  I personally have never been a fan of drinking.  I will admit to trying a few drinks before to see what they tasted like.  But as far as the temptation to drink to get drunk, never.  Why do that?  I mean I know some people get drunk because they want a way to run away from their problems and pain for just a little while at least.  other people get drunk because its fun and makes them do stupid shit and gives them a super extrovertant personality which is only false…  I mean really, if you have to waste thousands of dollars a year on beer and shit just to run from your pain and problems, that’s pathetically weak.  Plus think about if you didn’t drink and all that money you wasted on it before was used to pay off those bills and take care of health problems for you and your family, go on dates, entertainment, etc.  All of which would ease your pain and take away most of your problems.  Then again for those that are Christian, prayer…  I mean pray about your issues like any other Christian, don’t rely on alcohol, it’s so sad.

Alcohol does terrible things to your body as well.  It makes you fatter particularly in the mid-section…  It causes kidney infections, liver disease, pancreas issues…  it effects your moods so you get mood swings and start treating people like shit when you don’t mean to…  It’s highly unhealthy and the fact that you are wasting all that money to make yourself unhealthy is really terrible to think about right…?

I’ll never understand why people drink so much and feel that by doing so makes you socially accepted and/or easier to hang out with, more enjoyable, whatever…  it’s rediculous.  It’s embarrassing, and it’s pathetic.

I’m more of a social drinker. I have a few drinks every few months. Mostly at special events or a celebration. Other than that, I don’t drink. My mother was an alcoholic and alcoholism runs in the family and I’m not putting myself at risk like that. I don’t understand why people drink so much. You get more problems by trying to solve them with alcohol.

You’re probably right. Having said that, I drank in college…because it was fun! It’s how I bonded with a lot of my college friends and had some of my most hilarious memories. Not like that makes it okay or anything, haha.

Yeah, when people say alcohol, I think waste of money and false promises of people you aren’t, even though while drunk you are really that person, though some think you are really not! Lol… But I view the same, about drinking and fun and wastes of money as I view; riding a rollercoaster, ice skating, eating out (fast food mostly, but every kind,) driving motorcycles, perms, reading, school,

And most of all God!!! He is the biggest waste of all money ever. If every church in this country would not watse the billions of dollars upon preacher man’s new car, the church’s new 72 inch LCD tv, etc., we would have no worries about finances ever! By the way, reading your works, I realize you do exactly my style, minus the both-sidedness approach I take. Even if this is a freak coincidence

it is still flattery and so thanks. Even your response to me a long time ago, priceless… Words taken out of my mouth!
