The journey begins anew – Thank you, Diary Master!

So excited to be back on Open Diary! This place was always such a magical place for so many to connect! I am far from the same person that I was before, so it will be interesting to restart this journey, to read back over my entries from years past (and maybe blush a little … or a lot, because back then, I was certainly no well behaved girl), to fill in the lost gaps of time and begin anew!

I believe there’s a reason for everything and the way our life unfolds. I never saw the email that Open Diary was coming back, at least until yesterday when I happened to be trying to get access to another site I had not been on in a couple of years … okay, admittedly it was FetLife. But I was just going back there after a few years away, in order to delete my now fairly useless profile. Over the years, I really started to worry that someone I know might actually see my face on there and make the connection.

I never did end up getting back into the site, but it brought me back to my mostly abandoned and clogged-with-spam Gmail account, to that particular email about how to reclaim my OD; and it led me back down the forgotten path to diary-hood.

Diary Master, thank you for breathing new life into this haven for writers! Let the games begin!
