Planting memories
Today my spouse learned he was finally accepted into the Choctaw Nation. He also learned a friend had passed away. We’ve been waiting for both things to happen. We learned his friend had gone into hospice about a week ago, and now he’s gone. Growing plants brought us all together and the friendship lasted several years. His enthusiasm for growing plants matched our own, and it was fun to hear about his latest adventures. He’ll be missed. Especially when we begin to harvest things. He had connections around the world and he would always share new grafting techniques or new varieties of vegetables. Enjoy your friends while you have them.
I think that is so cool that your friend had so much to offer about plants. We are drawn to people who have similar interests. I am sorry your friend is gone. Remembering the positive side has to be of some comfort. Take care.
