kill the rodents
curse the rodents. My spouse was changing the filters in my car and he discovered a mouse house near the air filter. Typical. I’m surprised we didn’t smell something off when we used the car last time. Since Covid, I didn’t use my car as often as I would have normally. And honestly, I still don’t use it that much. So to have a mouse take residence isn’t surprising. It has happened to us in the past with both of our vehicles. One in the garage and one in the driveway. Mice don’t care. But I do. So the traps are set all over the garage. We discontinued setting traps during the summer, but it’s officially fall, so let the destruction of the rodents begin. About 3 weeks ago, we had a cat trying to become a familiar face at our house, but my spouse kept chasing it away. I would have kept it solely for keeping the rodent population down. Oh well.
Get the cat! 😮 Omigosh! We have mice too. 😮

One time I went to get something to eat and while driving there was a wasp in my car. I rolled the window down and hoped it would fly out. When I stopped, I opened the car door and I noticed there was a wasp nest in there. It wasn’t visible when the door was shut. I then had to drive home and I was so nervous because there’s a whole wasp nest right there.
Your mouse issue reminded me of that. These animals trying to turn cars into homes.

Oh, I hate mice.  We have lived here for over 30 years and have only seen one mouse in all that time.  Maybe it’s because we have always had a cat or two in the house.

Apparently Bounce softener cloths are so toxic they keep mice away. People spread them around their empty RVs and houses they leave empty. It might be worth a try if you don’t have to breath it in yourself.
