Neither Here Nor There

So Kasi and I are all moved into our home. We love it much and it’s so pretty and spacious. Not to mention our poor puppy doesn’t have to be locked up everyday now. He has the roam of the house and I know he’s loving it.

Kasi’s job is going GREAT! She is not working more hours than ever before and in 2 months she made more money than she made all year. Her first month she made nearly $4,000 and this month will be a nice one too. I’m so proud of how far she has come and I’m so glad I hung on to see the light in her eyes come back. She finally has found some self worth for herself and that’s a beautiful thing in itself.

My job is wonderful as always. However we are planning more and more for the baby, our baby, and we haven’t yet decided if I’m going to continue working. I would love to keep my job, but neither one of us wants to put our child in day care. We still have a good year and a half to plan.

Hurricane season begins next month and I’m so nervous and upset. I’m afraid of what could come, but I know I love it here and I wouldn’t change anything, I just hope we don’t loose everything. We have designated areas now for all of our important things, and with both of us having good cars now we can pack all of the important things when and if we evacuate, everything else is replaceable and that’s just how you have to look at things.

We I’m getting back to work.

Planning for a baby, I have to agree with you I’d stay at home if I had kids. It doesn’t seem fair to put them n daycare even though that’s what the government wants. Congrats on the new place.
