Looking Back on Many Months
1. What did you do in 2003 that you’d never done before?
Oh my god.. so many things. I resorted to some really crazy (yet legal) ways to earn money. I went on piles of road trips. I worked in theaters that weren’t the high school. I learned how to fire a gun. I started to learn poi and became a youth fighter marshal. And.. I got married LOL That was a kicker.
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make New Year’s Resolutions. I have better things to be doing. And I’ll fix myself in my own time. For now I’ll be happy with how I am.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My best friend for all my childhood had her son, Ethan. It was sad that I couldn’t be in Florida for her, but I know that she handled it all well without me
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My friend Mimi died in a car crash earlier in the year, and it struck me really hard… she and I were editors-in-crime my senior year of high school, and she was a really amazing person.
My great grandfather also died last week, though we weren’t as close, since he lived in Arizona most of my life…
5. What countries did you visit?
I had hoped to go to Canada, but that isn’t happening thus far. Soon though. Very soon.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
My own place to live, away from psycho mother… though seriously, I hope I can have the strength to deal with what comes my way, and also to fight my personal battles with myself.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 23. It was the day Mimi died.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I learned to be me.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I still have jealousy issues I need to learn how to overcome.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing worth mentioning
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My car.. Oh I love my car sssooooooo much. My Diamond. It is wonderful.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Vicol gets top props. His amazing friendship and how much he helped me when I needed him most. Tigg, Petreko, and Albatross also helped when I needed them.. They all were wonderful. Love to you all!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A few people… but oh well. I grew and learned and moved past it. I’ll always hurt from them.. but that’s life.
14. Where did most of your money go?
It went into gas for my car and towards alllll the roads trips I took. Plus Pennsic, which counts as a road trip.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I was/am so excited about Pennsic that the fever still hasn’t gone away. I had the most amazing Pennsic of my life, and I can’t wait for the next one.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
“You Can’t Stop the Beat” Hairspray
The finale from Rent
“Time of Your Life” GreenDay
