Damn Neon
I think it’s finally time to retire my Neon… though it’s been so wonderful by bringing me all over the place lately. Right now I hate it with a passion.
So today I was FINALLY going to go to classes. I got into reverse, and my car wouldn’t move. So I gunned the gas, backed out, and all I hear is squealing from a tire.
Pulling back in was the same thing.
So I walk around my car to see what’s up. Our driveway is dirt, which made it easy to see where my rear driver’s side tire dragged int he dirt, and also the burn marks on the paved road where it dragged across the pavement.
In other words, somehow my tire has locked up, and I don’t know how to fix it. ONLY that tire lockedup, so I can’t blame the brakes.
I might go try again.. but I doubt it will make a difference. I have a feelign the axle finally just gave up from the abuse I’ve put it through, especially since the bar was bent somehow in the accident I had in December.
So now I’m without a vehicle, and I’m pissed. No car means I can’t go find a job. Which means no money. Which means bills don’t get paid, and I don’t get a new car.
Grr…
