100 Minutes War, Take II
Stephen and I walked over to Kali’s car together to drop off his armor… it was a short break from Mathias.. which I needed at the moment. Really, he’s sweet and fun and all.. but I need my space sometimes from hands and lips.
And while we were at Kali’s car, I saw Eloi walk by! -melt- I ran over and hugged him.. and kissed him.. not like he minded of course. Stephen got jealous. LOL I wasn’t sure how to deal with that one, so I gave him a quick kiss, said “there, happy?” and life went on.
Blah. I want Eloi, dammit.
More hanging out on the tennis courts ensued. More Mathias all over me. Yeah.
Did I mention I want Eloi, dammit?
Eventually, we had to move Kali’s car and bring Ari to her mom’s car and whatnot, so Kali, Ari, Stephen, Mathias and I walked to Kali’s car, drove over to Ari’s car, and climbed out. Chip had gone to our car and curled up for a nap because supposedly he wasn’t feeling well. Actually, he wanted to go home. That did not make me happy.. but I promised to ask around about maybe finding another ride home.
While we were walking back, Mathias grabbed me and held me back from the group.. and kissed me.. held me for awhile.. which I was not too interested in. I hate missing things that happen, and I just knew that if everyone disappeared, I’d miss something interesting. I kept pulling away.. but on the tennis courts he spun me around, kissed me, and slid his hand down my chemise. I pulled away fast after that. I don’t know. Not being around him since Coronation makes it hard for me to warm up to that sort of thing so fast. Then there’s the fact that I had my mind on someone else.
So we found everyone in the merchant area again.. I ran into Roy and we chatted a bit.. I asked him if I could hop a ride home with him and my sister.. but they said they were gonna leave shortly and go hang out with Haus Von Halstern.. so that wasn’t going to happen.
Then I saw Eloi -melt-. I went over and asked him if I could hop a ride home with him and El… and he said that if I wanted to, I could.. but…
They were spending the night in a hotel with two other friends and going to wander around NYC tomorrow. Tempting.. tempting… But I had to ask mother about that one, first. He said they’d make room if I could join them, though -purr-.
Ran into one of Eloi’s two friends… his name escapes me.. but I know him from Tolkien Tourney, cuz he was definitely encouraging my semi-drunken fun I was having that night.. he offered the same thing to me, of course. So I went and found a cell phone to ask Mom about it.
What did she do? Yelled at me and hung up on me. AKA NO WAY!
Grr!
At that point Mathias, Stephen, AND Eloi were all watching court.. so no amusement there. And Chip was all on my case about leaving.. so finally, at 7pm, I let him make me leave. I told El to tell Eloi to call me sometime this week, sinc eI have the whole week off.
Then we got in the car and drove. I lay down, somewhat dozing, though still awake. I should have noticed something was odd when we came to a 50 cent toll booth that I have NEVER encountered on my drives to New York or Jersey… but I was in a mood and didn’t press the issue much.
Abotu an hour later, Chip brought to my attention that he didn’t know where he was.
Guess what the nitwit did? He went the wrong way (thinking heading towards NYC would bring us home) and got us into Manhattan! UGH!
By the time we were turned around and back to where we needed to be, we had wasted more time than it would have taken had we left when I wanted to, at 9pm. Grr to him!
We stopped at McD’s for quick food.. he locked me out of the car and threatened to drive away without me. I sat on the hood and held on, but he let me in. I dozed the rest of the way home. Then I hopped in my car, drove home.. and here I am.
I wanna go back and see everyone.
And I want Eloi, dammit.
