stress over failing grades/robert’s got a cold

I’m listening to the band Oasis.  There’s just something about their music that gets me motivated to write or dance or something creative.  I know the bands frontmen were total assholes, and so I wouldn’t buy their album for the LONGEST time, but finally I couldn’t stand it anymore and I ended up buying a used CD on half.com.  Now I see that my music collection includes 11 other Oasis albums too!!  🙂   I love that I have the HUGE collection in my hard drive!!  What fun!

Oh.  the album just ended. 

OK. Now I’m ripping an Elan CD into my hard drive. 

*sigh*  I’m not getting anything done right now except a quick entry into here!  No laundry is going, I’m sure the kitchen could use straightening, I have baby stuff to pick up all over the place.  *sigh*

I’m just kinda mentally exhaused dealing with Dylan’s grades slipping again. Now he’s got 2 Fs and a D- and report card time is at the end of this month!!  YIKES.  He DOES have 2 As in his 2 Advisory classes (no homework, etc).  All the classes that are real important, tho, EXCEPT MATH he’s doing poorly in.  Oddly enough in math he has a B.  (it was an A until last week).  I feel like I’m failin Dylan.  My stress level went so high last night that I felt I would have a heart attack or something!!  It’s HORRIBLE!  I’m sure I’m over-reacting or something, so I keep bringing myself down a bit.  But it’s VERY discouraging to keep seeing Dylan with more missing assignments and failed tests.  And then, when he tries – or at least does what he’s supposed to – he can score As.  Go figure! 

I spoke with Krissy yesterday from work.  This is where it all started to escalate in me.  Her response to finding out that Dylan’s grades are getting worse was to shout that she’s taking him off his medication and pulling him OUT of that school!!  I did speak with her a bit and get her to relax a moment and focus on what he reallyneeds.  I hear the baby.  More later!
