Robert at 10 months

I just want to jot down some things that my "Bug" has been doing lately.  He’s so dang cute!!  He is only 10 months old…  First of all, when I brush my teeth (with my electric toothbrush) Robert gets SO EXCITED!!  He’ll turn toward me, and race into the bathroom with a huge, excited smile on his face!  He watches me in amazement as I brush!!  So when he got his first tooth, I got him his own little (non-electric!) toothbrush and baby toothpaste.  At first, when I tried to put it in his mouth, he really wasn’t wanting me to do that.  Instead, he wanted to grab the toothbrush and tap it on everything!!  But after only 2-3 times of me using it in his mouth, he GETS IT NOW!!  Seriously, all i have done is brush his one tooth at first.  (for a few seconds only)  But he got his second tooth so fast, now I brush his "teeth!!"  He actually LETS me put it in his mouth and brush!  And when I handed him his toothbrush when I was done brushing yesterday, he TOOK IT AND  PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH!!  He tried to brush his teeth himself!!  At 10 months old!!  Incredible!! 
OK.  Enough bragging about the toothbrush.  Also yesterday…  He loves to wake up in my big CA King bed and he starts talking the instant his brain becomes conscious.  Then his little tush rolls over and he’ll sit up.  Then he stands up or crawls over to the headboard and stands up.  Now he’s at his "station!"  He gets all happy, takes a deep breath (as if he has work to do) and starts going thru the items on the headboard.  He takes time out to pause and smile (maybe at himself in the mirror?)  He takes all my movies and picks them up high over his head.  He likes to grab the phone off the charger and press buttons so it beeps.  (I make sure he’s not calling the cops!!)  So yesterday, he picked up the phone AND PUT IT TO HIS EAR!!!  MY G-D that child is smart!!  He never fails to amaze me!
Already he can take his sippy cup and drink out of it himself.  But he STILL won’t self feed.  But I’m not worried, it seems he does things in his own time. 
I really want to try to keep up with my journalling about Robert and his milestones as they go by so FAST!!  I finally got his "walking" videos posted to snapfish so I could share them with my Mom and Dad and some other interested family.  My parents loved the videos!!  I even webcammed him to my parents the other day
