New beginning

Dear diary

On my 20th birthday (22 July), I somehow receive Jesus into my heart. So now I am a Chirstian? I still can’t believe it but well I am not confuse at all like some others do. However, sometimes I am still not convince that Jesus is really there, God is really there. It’s not that I totally doubt it, it’s just really hard to believe in that. I have been praying that Jesus will appear but so far it hasn’t happen. It’s hard to be convinced if you can’t even sense His presence. I decided to give myself another chance to know him but if it’s not successful, that’s it…………One thing I really feel stress and pressured now because I will need to vist church, join a cell group, read bible, read chirstianity books and stuffs, all these are not really what I like and what I want………..goosh but if I don’t do all these I can’t get to know Jesus I suppose. I am really a stubborn fellow who only believes in what I see, not so much what others say or what is written in the books.

Hm, yeah you know,I had alot of problems with the same thing, feeling like God/Jesus (same being/thing) wasn’t there, but you know sometimes we just have to walk in faith. You may not be able to feel God,or SEE him,but even though you don’t he’s still there, there’s sssooo much that you can have in a relationship with Jesus,no it may not be easy, but it’s so worth it,just keep walking by faith Sharon

Woohoo!! Congratulations!! *Does a happy dance* The only “advice” I’d give you on really having faith and not doubting God is that you can’t have that attitude of “if this doesn’t work, that’s it”. You have to just totally surrender yourself to it all, that’s when you’ll feel Jesus’ presence, you know what I mean? You just can’t hold back and be skeptical. This is something I have a…

…really hard time with, too. Just having blind faith. I agree it’s difficult to surrender everything to God, because I’m stubborn, too. Just start reading the Bible, and start with John or Psalms. And maybe get some Christian music (I recommend Delirious?, Newsboys, and/or Chris Tomlin). I’ll be praying for you that your faith will grow and that you won’t give up. -Annie
