First things first, I spoke to mum today.  It seems there was a bit of crossed wires and my sister in law isn’t expected to die in the next few days.  She is still dying from cancer (I repeat, absolutely motherfuck cancer) though, but she has accepted that it’s going to happen.

Other news.

I got a new laptop.   It was more than time, to be honest.  I forgot how fast computers are supposed to be.  It’s not ideal, though.  I thought it had a 1TB hard drive, but it actually has 2 500GB drives and I have to press the function button for things like page up and down and the F keys, but I’m getting used to it.

I’m also currently making plans for going home for Christmas and New Year.

Another book recommendation.  Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-Reum.  It doesn’t have much of a plot, but it’s adorable, particularly if you are a bookworm.
