Strange

I was going to copy/paste this straight in, but I dn’t think my diary is equipped to cope with this much batshit insanity.

Seriously, I know this election season in the States has been a bit crazy but…

Is Karl Rove helping Obama beat Clinton?

OMFG, I just watched the recent American Dad! episode in which Karl Rove (dressed as the really evil guy whose name I don’t remember from Star wars — bad geek, me!) helped Stan win an election at his church. Looking forward to reading this article, thanks!

You were spot on about Pushing Daisies. Only seen the first two episodes as I took the slow route and waited for ITV1 to show it, but I like what I’ve seen so far.

In his book the Audacity of Hope, Obama does single out numerous Republican senators as worthy of praise andthinks George Bush the man is a nice guy. A big theme of the book is the need for bipartisanship. I tend to err on the optimistic side that he’s genuine about working with the best calibre of people regardless of party stripes but its easy to see how this can be taken as cynical or how thiscan be used against him in the face off with McCain later in the year.

i wouldn’t suppress the bnp either, i believe freedom of speech is important, but the fact is that they are here, they are contesting seats in my adopted city, and i don’t like what they stand for. i think we’ve laughed them off for too long – i think they’ve made themselves an option for lots of people. it upsets me eh.
