Quote comp: Q6 answer and Q7

If you remember, last weeks quote was:
“The things we touch have no permanence. My master would say: there is nothing we can hold onto in this world. Only by letting go can we truly possess what is real.”

I got two answer. The first was a joke answer from Cosmic:
yoda in star wars? hehe. joke [Cosmic]

And it does indeed sound like something Yoda would say. Corbeau was the only person to get it right:
“The things we touch have no permanence. My master would say: there is nothing we can hold onto in this world. Only by letting go can we truly possess what is real.” Said by Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun-Fat) in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” =o) ~ [Corbeau]

Correct. And if you have not seen this film yet, I highly recommend that you do. Next quote:
“Through the darkness of futures past, the magician longs to see.”

You have, as always, one week.

It was said by Mike in Twin Peaks and continues “…..one..chance…out..between two worlds… Fire…walk with me.” Well at least I think so anyhow. *L*

Thanks for your note. In case you’re curious: 1. I’m reading “Burned child seeks the Fire” a memoir of an Auschwitz survivor 2. Caecilia Bartoli “Se tu m’ami” Arie Antiche–18th Century Italian Songs 3. My Mozart t shirt, and a silk kerchief my mother gave to me from her days at the cabaret!

You know this quote is on your main page? =o) Very cool. Too bad I had never seen the movie. ~
