Goran Ivanisevic. And I’m so glad that he won. This is the tournament he had always wanted to win and he did.

But did anyone else watch the final? I did not see all of it but what I did see impressed me. I felt so sorry for Rafter because it was one of those matches you wish no-one had to lose.

But how good was it to see Goran rushing up to his dad, with tears running down his face, to celebrate.

It made you feel good about things. And it made me feel that if I think I deserve it, I’ll get it.

So, congratulations Goran. And thanks for the slightly mad interviews and the fun of the past two weeks.

And enjoy the feeling. You deserve everything that’s coming to you.
