Progress

I have officially lost 20 lbs!!! 20.6 to be exact. I want to lose 12 more by thanksgiving. However, I have had way too much sodium today. I am just trying to drink more water to flush it out without doing too much damage. (Not sure if that is how it works or not but it’s worth a shot) I know people who have never struggled with weight loss won’t understand but this is really hard. I am proud of myself though for finally getting off my rump and doing something about it. I was never big as a child or even a teen. I didn’t start really packing on the weight until I was about 24. But man it came on quick after that. I have been working out super hard at the gym. We have been making fantastic meals with a low calorie, fat, sodium, and sugar content. I am not the type that can eat salad every day. Not to mention I want to make this a lifestyle change, not just something I do for 3 months and get burned out. The trainer at our gym gave me a high intensity workout to do on the elliptical machine Monday. She said some of the speeds were really hard so not to be upset if I couldn’t do them. I thought I might die but I did all of them! And there were some intervals that were 160 strides a minute for 2 minutes and 150 strides for 4 minutes. And they were on a cross ramp of 10 with a resistance of 8 (basically like going uphill) I have done that every day this week. After doing this routine for 2 weeks I am supposed to add part 2 of the cardio workout which is an additional 30 minutes. I can and will do this.

Hi =] I just want support staying under 600… Its hard.. I like to eat… but like being skinnier better. Im only 5’2.. just a little thing. hah
