cant think of anything witty

I was so proud of myself yesterday. I went 5.5 miles on the stationary bike in 20 minutes. yes not the fastest but at least i did it. I had a shower had dinner, then the kids and I went for a 2 mile walk. The littlest stayed home with daddy so we were able to walk at a faster pace. So, we walked about 2 miles before we came home. I ate really good yesterday. I even resisted temptation.  the Hubby and the kids decided they wanted Krystals and I had a lean pocket…yay me! I’m not gonna be weighing myself for about a week because i started my period this morning and i dont wanna see the number not going down due to bloating and get discouraged. I feel good today though considering my woman problems. I’m about to go to work for a couple of hours. When i get home today I’m gonna try to talk to my hubby about why we need to do this weightloss thing together. I dont wanna hurt his feelings. I dont care what he looks like. I just want us to still be alive and married at 80 instead of him dying of a heart attack at 45. I love him, I know he’s not happy with himself. I know that’s why he gets in his funky moods all the time. And I know we would be happier in general if we could do it together. I just dont know how to say all this to him without it hurting him. That’s the last thing I wanna do

I wouldn’t obsess over the weighing in thing. You can go up or down a few lbs in a day due to water retention or even from building muscle. I think it’s important too to get the kids used to healthy eating (and activities) especially if being overweight is in their genes. It’s hard to make others understand that what YOU want is for THEIR own good. They have to want it for themselves.

someone actually told me that she never liked the hanging out with ‘the man’ thing. she asked me “when women don’t get along w/their husbands why do they want to spend so much time w/them?” well, which came first? them ‘abandoning’ us or us disliking them? she’s not married anymore. and her b.f. only comes by once a week! sounds like my single life. did you just hear the sound of a whip cracking

I hope that hubby decides to go on this journey with you, my husband and I did it together and I really feel that it was key in the amount of success we had. Good luck!
