Finally

I finally feel like a Mommy.  I am not sure when this mental shift happened.  Bry and I were talking about it the other night and both felt like it was not quite real yet.  We both could still not believe that this little person was ours!  Like his parents might come get him at any time.  Today I realized that he really is mine and nobody is going to take him away.  I am not sure how to describe it.  I fell in love the moment I saw him, but now I really feel like his mom.

*gasp* I have him on the floor, on an activity center thingy, and he just reached out and hit one of the hanging toys.  I know that he is too young to actually be controlling it, but it is still mighty cute!  I am going to try to write down when these things happen so that I have some sort of record of it happening.  Now I must go burp him because he has the hiccups… again!  Is it normal for him to get them several times a day?
