An Adventure and Dead tired
So yesterday knowing I’m on spring break and pretty its only a matter of time before I get Jonathan’s nasty cold decided to go to Syracuse. Which is about 1.5-2 hours away. Its a good drive so its something I really had to think about. I did and what the hell we went for it. Dennis wanted to go to his friends supposely near Geneva. Fine what the hell I’ll drop him off. Except near Geneva was really OVID so it was 40 minutes out of the way and another HOUR to get to Syracuse. I knew Rochester was having their St Patty’s Day Parade Saturday and Buffalo’s was Sunday. I didn’t realize Syracuse was having it Saturday too and were the Science museum was was a block away from "party "drunk fest central. So we got there and it was then I realized I didn’t have Jonathan’s diaper bag. I had NOTHING for him. No clothes, no diaper no wipes no snacks. it had already been 3 hours since we left the house. We ate on the way to Syracuse in Ovid. Luckily most of the time he goes long stretches during the day without being totally soaked and he did that day. So we had fun and played there for a few hours and decided it was time to eat and go home. Dennis was going to stay or so I thought and come home another day, but he called and said could I pick him up? UGH!!! Again I was lucky Jonathan has now gone 5 hours nothing to eat but he did drink as there was water there. We got back to Ovid and I stopped at Dollar General for diapers and snacks and a few other things. He was still not very wet. I got him something to drink and fruit bars to eat which he gobled right down almost 3 of them before he got mad and wanted more. I had to share them with Andrew whom was also very hungry. We got to Geneva at 7 pm and ate at Chinese buffet. I don’t usually eat that late but oh well. Jonathan usually goes to bed at 8pm. So we all ate and Jonathan ran around as now he was full and happy. We drove home, my stomach was off. But Jonathan although quiet stayed awake till we got home.
Once home Dennis had locked the front door of the house, problem is the key is not on my key chain he took it off sometime last week and LOST it. He gets paranoid and locks everything!!It was shut up tight and no one has an extra key to it. So we litterally had to break in to the house to get in. Andrew was flipping out. Jonathan was dead tired and I still had to go to my parents and feed the cats. Its now 10pm. We got in through the basement and busted a few locks, nothing too horrible. Jonathan was holding out for his nightly bottle. He will not give up the formula just yet. Once he had that he was OUT . Andrew fell asleep and I took care of the cats before going to bed.
Today I feel like crap….still don’t have Jonathan’s cold but I still feel the tickle of it coming and I feel like I slept in the street having mac trucks run over me. Everything hurts and I’m exhausted. Needless to say I did as little as possible. I did however grocery shop and feed the cats and that’s about it. I’m so off as we all got up late for us and with the clock change…the day went by fast.
sounds like you were mighty busy!!!!

RYN: obviously it will only happen if I’m a match for anyone and as long as everything is covered on THEIR end via insurance and such.
