Oy. I have been absent for far too long. Im sorry guys, but it has been so damn crazy as of late, between work (which is right now about 60 hours a week), looking for a grad program, school I am trying to pass well, mary’s school, kids, and trying to put together the best portfolio possible (frustratingfrustratingfrustrating). Not to mention all the other immediate thingies, like my retarded family (including but not limited to my now-mentally disabled brother [recall last year’s accident and 3 month coma] who randomly sets fires and doesnt realize why its not okay to hit on me), et al.
*rolls eyes*
You know, one of these days, I will have an excellent job, hire a nanny and build a sound-proof studio on the end of our brick-walled-arched-windowed-random-width-pine-floor-with a hella neat view loft. There will be this comfy couch in one end, with a fireplace where I can cuddle with Mary in the quiet moments and just enjoy being able to be. So there, I just revealed my ultimate wish.
I allowed to wish.
Not to mention that my first-choice MFA-Studio Art program (at NYU) only admits 7 students a year. So what if its a long shot. My whole life is fucking long-shots. I have beaten just about every odd there is so why shouldnt I go for it?

So, I hope that you all (if any of you actualy still read this blather) can forgive me my absence. And in respect for you all, it would be a lie if i promised I would update this more regularly. Its nothing personal, it just that when your budget of time is stretched so thinly, sometimes you have to cut unnecissary expenditures. Kinda like Republicans and social programs, oh wait, they manufacture budget shortfalls to cut indigent medical care. If you dont believe me, check out last week’s Tampa Tribune. I guess thats what happens when you are doubly Bushed. Well, that and a side of city-sponsored gay-bashing (also last week’s Trib).

Why oh why oh why oh why is it that every time I dont update for some length of time I return only to write some unending entry about nothing?
Oh well, Ill leave that as anyone’s guess.
