treading water in teh flood of life…..

We got a call tuesday around 3:45ish in the afternoon that j’s dad had a stroke from his brother. j’s like ok, my mom calls, set up to meet her to get her dog food, n cat litter,  5pm J’s brother calls back, n offers to come get J, saying he needs to get there as soon as possible. J starts to freak out, calls his boss, to see about getting off work tuesday nite, i take off to help my mom fill the car with gas, get a call while out with mom that hes off work, quickly drop my mom n her stuff off, pick up j n take off for his parents place, Once we get there his brothers n half sis, are there we all go to hospital togetehr, J’s dad is 69 years old just been a week since his bday. Didn’t look good hard to understand…. couldn’t move his right arm well. but could the right leg…
we stayed with his half sis till we left this morning so j could go to work tonite… I dont work til sat. but if it doesn’t start picking up in august then im job hunting closer to j’s folks in of story.

MRi -mra results are back, J’s dad, Had blood clots from top to bottom …. so j’s dad could be like this for the rest of his life, or he has a slim chance of recovery, we haven’t heard about the test results that their doing of the heart to see if any damage is done there.

Prayers are welcome. J’ is barely holding it together, and well im not holding it together much either, since j’s parents basically consider me their daughter inlaw, even tho j’ n i aren’t engaged yet, and j’s mom introduces me as such to her friends..

*SighZ* its 11:45 pm time to check in with j. to make sure he’s holding up at work tonite…
