aloha…no, ha!

Well Stephen’s gone in stupid Hawaii until Wednesday… How fair is that?! I couldn’t even tag along, and so I’m stuck here while he gets (okay, only one day off) to lounge on the beach drinking various slushy alcoholic beverages! WHATEVER.

So I’ve applied for a couple of jobs already yesterday, one was at some shit ass jewelry store. The equivelent of Claires I guess, for an Asst. manager’s position. Hey, if I get it, I’ll take it… Obviously I don’t have the option of being picky. The other was at a Homeware type of store where they sell linnens and other fun things for the home. They were both in the mall, so that’s always a good start. It’s so easy to meet people while working there, tends to be stressful but a lot of fun. Other than that, I was going to go back today and get a few more things done, but to be honest it’s so windy out and I had a rough night so I might put that off until tomorrow or Monday.

My cat should have been born an owl. He loves to sleep the entire day away (on my lap, I might add…) And then at night he’s like some kind of evil monster of darkness!!! He tears the place apart! He dug out a bunch of kleenex from god knows where and ripped them to shreds. He also manages to to steal all of my hair elastics and hide them, so when I need one I have to go looking under furniture and in corners. And to think he looks so cute right now, all curled up in a little ball snoring. *sigh*

As for what else is new, not much I’m afraid. I made some amazing blueberry pancakes for dinner yesterday. Too bad for Steve he wasn’t here to enjoy them! I told him and I think he got a bit jelous, but I did promise to make them again sometime. Gotta be nice so he brings me presents :oP I told him to get me one of those little dancing hula girls, so when I get a car I can stick it on the dash! haha… I know he will too, can’t wait to see it.
