for the not so educated

as many people have noticed there have been walkouts in many highskools around the southwest. well here is not different. all this week several skools have been particitpating in walk outs. yesturday was my skool’s turn. of course the motives of the majority of the students doing it do not kno what theyre doin. just another excuse to get out of class.

yesturday at around 8 40 am someone pulled the fire alarm allowing several students to leave the campus. they marched to a neighboring skool (ysleta high) to pick up more followers and together with 300 strong they marched to the border bridge. they stayed there like all day. some actually got bored and came back to skool. most say they went because they just wanted to be a part of something big. something rebelious one might say.

principal pearson made a statement to the remaining students to take this opportunity to educate themselves in the events taking place. of course he also made it clear that every action has its consequence.

what are these kids marching for. every class that day was spent speaking about the immigration bill. teachers had their own opinions as did the students. but when students were questioned as to what they knew about the bill, nobody really knew. some said it was for the wall. it has nothing to do with the wall. some said it was about felonies. some said it was just for the purpose of “kicking out the mexicans”. really they have no idea. they vaguely understand the situation at hand. its sad to see that they dont have passion really for their culture. at least enough to understand what is being put against them.

this assail is pointed towards the ignorance of the uneducated youth.

there was news that some high skool students wrecked a convinient store nearby. to what purpose was this done?? just to skip class and rebel. the future is shady. who knows what will happen next.

as for the condition at skool at this moment, we are on lockdown. nobody can leave class and we cant switch classes either. stuck here in french class waiting for the announcement to allow us to leave. at least i’m at a computer. they have the entire skool watching harry potter. kinda childish but hey at least theyre tryin to keep us entertained.

i was so pissed yesturday hearing the words of my peers. such blinded opinion. most didnt even allow for anyone else to speak. kept interupting. i applaud those teachers and open minded students attempting to talk sense into seemingly mindless monkeys.

if you want to create this chaos then do so having a true purpose. enough with nonsense. if you truely want your voice to be heard then present yourself as a respectable, reasonable, smart minded person. protest in an organized manner and have a PURPOSE!!
