Navigated, arrival

Oh how you wanted these things
I tried
The weather was against us
Or only you
Sounds came to define what peacefulness was
I saw it
Waited for you to still yourself and observe
And perhaps you did
I don’t remember

The cold can be seen
Floating in vapours up the hill
The grey grass twitches
Bends
Fingers are extended in the air
Then relaxed
A unison breath
All are separated
All are instanced
The eyes are warm and the land flat beneath the feet
The buttocks as one sits
The voice would not quite be described as song
Then silence
Breath
And a uniform light that provokes full dilation
Air chill against the liquid covering the surface of the eye
Inhale

Only one can be seen at a time
Then the next
Pause
Stop perhaps to observe
Then the other
But never all three at once
In the dim shapes of the uniform light
You are there
Another shape
As they are
