Society Today
Let me tell you something about society today.
Nobody cares about U.S. Soldiers. Nobody.
You may be sitting there going “That’s not true,
I care about U.S. Soldiers”. Well now you’re a liar.
I just got back from Iraq, and I want to share a few
things about society that I hope make you feel ashamed
of yourself.
I know soldiers who have trouble coping with the horrors
of war, people who can’t cope with being able to say
they’ve STEPPED in the puddle of what was once an
8 year old girl.
Do you want to know what happened to HIM? I’ll tell you
what happened to him. He came home to find his wife has
been cheating on him the entire year!
And let’s not forget those who have died. Nobody cares.
I wont tell you what happened to me. But let’s just say
that I will never ever forgive humanity for it.
I know soldiers who have been on the edge every day of their
LIFE out there, not knowing what’s around the next bend in the
road, getting only a bottled water shower because we didn’t have
any water, and checking their email once a month, to find that
their friends and family back home are creating DRAMA. Unneccessary
drama that stresses them.
Don’t be surprised if we don’t all come back and kill civilians.
You guys piss us off. We hate you. ALL OF YOU. None of you deserve
your freedom. None of you. I hope you lose it. I hope you all become
the slave of some foreign country. I hope I live long enough
to see this entire country fall to the ground and perish in FLAMES.
I hope you all die.
I hope you find peace.
Warning Comment
Wow… My husband was in Iraq for two years (one during Desert Storm, and the other during Iraqi Freedom). He’s 70% disabled from getting car bombed on his second tour. It’s hard on him, it’s hard on the kids, and it’s hard on me, too (I recall one incident when he was groaning in his sleep. When I gently awoke him he was quiet for some time, and then chilled me to the core by asking me, “did you know that when a body burns, it burns blue?”). Not everyone supports our soldiers the way that they should, I agree…but there are many out there that sympathize with them, and do anything in their power to make things easier. I really hope you don’t succumb to the anger that lurks inside. My husband has it, too, but he’s getting better; it’s a day-by-day process. Take care.
