Q: If your younger self could time travel and meet the you of today, what would they think of you? What would you tell your younger self?

A: First I suppose it depends on just how much younger the self I’d meet was. I’ll go with 18 year old me (a decade ago).

I’d have to say we’d get along really well. He was determined to become a Cisco certified network administrator. And while I did become a CCNA… it wasn’t in the private sector… it was in the military.

I think he’d like even more how I have shifted my passion towards programming, and got my education in video game development. And then we’d have to have an epic Smash Bros fight before parting ways.

Obviously he wouldn’t like going bald, any more than I do. Or the fact that I’m still not married yet.

But overall, I think we’d both be satisfied in knowing I’m doing well today.
