Basic Training Letter #2

Nicki,

It’s still Saturday, 3 May, but I told you I would write you twice a day at some point so you would get a make-up letter for Sunday. So here it is.

Remember Nicki, I understand that you are probably very busy, tired, and sore. Don’t bother wasting your precious free time writing me back. Write your family.

But if you do write me — thanks. I don’t get too many letters, so I love when I do. Also if you get to make phone calls – I am available 6 PM and later your time. My number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

I must know — Do you feel you are surrounded by idiots like I predicted? I hate idiots.

Well now I’m going to go stuff these letters in an envelope and mail them off to you.

Take care of yourself Nicki. Elizabeth Nicole Cook – I love that name. Divine gift/victory to the people — damn straight.

~Bruce

There’s another Basic Training Letter back one page <—

Meanwhile I got a note that I just don’t seem to have an answer for.

I just read your diary front page. Why are you doomed to keep repeating the same mistakes? Aren’t you able to learn a lesson? You don’t need someone else to make you complete! You are a whole person by yourself. You need to play the role of complete man. Are you spiritually bankrupt?

Yea… I got nothing for it.

However, speaking of front page, it *is* about time to get a new front page going.

I agree with that noter, actually. You can have any kind of life you want, Bruce.

ryn: ohh, you must have missed my entry of the drunk sleepover with Alex then. Do feel free to snoop for it 🙂 It’s kind of worth it to understand my inner pyschey (yeah, yeah… I spelled it wrong I’m sure, but the joke still counts!)
