I finally got that container CLIN bug/feature done today. That’s a relief. I also got my landlord’s part of the paperwork emailed to me. More free unneccessary compliments. “Great tenant. Hate to see him go. We love Bruce.”
Man, I’m starting to feel guilty about moving out. But I already talked with my landlords and they understand my reasoning. I have to be out on my own at some point. I can’t stay here forever. It’s time for me to get a place to call my own.
My boss is very interested in interviewing my programmer friend. They’re going to try really hard to get him there tomorrow for an interview, but if they can’t, they’ll schedule a meeting next week for sure. I just hope my friend doesn’t blow it. He’s a smart enough guy for the job, that’s for sure. I hope he gets it.
Good luck to your friend. And hooray for more compliments.

RYN: I’ll note you what I wrote to Infinite Ocean– Well that’s why I put “gun talk? no.” as my title because it’s not just about that. We need to go much deeper. The mental health system is severely flawed and needs a good cleaning in order to help individuals who need it, not blacklist and shun them from society. People can’t even get help when it is necessary, you know? Sure we have laws…

…and sometimes they aren’t followed, but putting more restrictions to the whole of society instead of taking the time to go more individualistic and learn on a case by case standard behind the weapons in place is becoming an issue. Naturally there’s so much to say about gun violence, but we can’t start with guns, we need to start with the people holding them. ~~~>

RYN: Well the think the problem with the gun control laws isn’t the stores and background checks, if you think about it, most people either used someone else’s gun or got them off the internet, say craig’s list. If people really want guns they’ll get them, regardless of what laws have been in place, yeah? Same with illegal drugs and downloading content of the internet ~~~>
