I need to write more often.

The problem is… my life is a lot less dramatic nowadays. I have a stable job, and nothing ever happens in my life. I think in order to write more often now, I’ll have to start writing about my daily life. Sort of like Helen does (More plagiarism, I know, I know…).

I’m still moving out from where I live soon. Probably within a month. Sadly, I wont be moving in to the place I posted about an entry or two ago. It turns out I am “too rich” to move there. It’s a fixed income place, so if you make more than a set amount of money… you can’t live there. Well crap – I made too much. So I can’t live there. I decided on another place, but I’m not going to lie, I’m not as obsessed over this place as I was the poor person place. I feel like the poorer people can now live in a nicer place than me, haha. It’s a 2 bedroom 1 bath. Small bathroom and kitchen. =( Either way… I will learn to deal.

Today I worked. Even though it’s Saturday. My coworkers and I are working on a major feature/bug of our site, and it needs to be completed sometime early next month. I figured I’d do a little work now to prevent crunches closer to the deadline. I’ll probably work some more tomorrow.

The best part about all of this, is that it didn’t even bother me – my job is not a chore. I genuinely enjoy what I do. I sat and listened to music while pumping out logic for a solid 7 hours. Got a lot of stuff done, I did. It was awesome. I slept in too. I went to work at noon (I typed that as n00n at first… very much a gamer).

My coworker Paul also showed up today. He’s the main person in charge of this new feature. He’s had the bug the longest. The guy who had the bug before him quit, after sitting on it for a month, so that’s why we’re all worried about the time crunch. Nancy also showed up at work too. She’s also working on the bug. There’s about 4 of us or so working on this bug.

The bug is in HazWaste, which is a part of the site that I feel I specialize in. I actually got to take a trip to San Antonio in November because of my love for HazWaste (that’s funny to read).

I want to continue making C++ Tutorial Videos… but I seem to have stopped at Console Input. It’s not a difficult topic… but for some reason… I just have no motivation to do it. This has been a constant issue in my life – I’ll start a project, but never finish it. I’d like to take these videos and put it on my list of things I’ve FINISHED… but I’ve a long way to go.

I hope I can begin to write more.
