Xmas vacation – day 1

It’s Saturday morning and we’re just hanging out at Brenda and Bill’s. We took off at 11 on Thursday and drove straight through. Weather was great and traffic light. We arrived about 10:15pm so we made pretty good time. Diane made us listen to Christmas music part of the way. It was tough to get into the Christmas spirit with no snow anywhere along the way. Barfy!

Yesterday we just hung out most of the day. I took the kids out for a late breakfast at Harry’s Diner. Bill had a 1/2 day of school so we picked him up after. Last night we went to an Italian place, Vinnie T’s. Food was very good and everyone was well behaved. Only a couple of drinks were consumed.

Today we’re planning to hit The Guitar Center for a bit then head into Boston. Erica wants to pick up something at her dorm room. I’m sure mainly she wants to show Justin her college.

It’s hard to believe that Justin and Erica are in college. They’re getting so grown up. Our visits are more relaxing now that they’re older and more mature.
