Justin Home and Weekend plans

On Wed I picked up Justin from school and brought him home for the 1 1/2 week break. His girlfriend, Nichole, is going to Florida for break. He did well in his classes this term. Final grades are still being calculated but he’ll get between a 3.7 and a 3.9 depending on how they curve things.  He has a 3.45 so far so this quarter will boost his GPA up some. I’m really proud of him. Next quarter is going to be a busy one with some tough courses. It will also be nice weather so he’ll have trouble sticking to the books.

During the break I need to prod him to do his taxes, finish his resume and cover letters for summer work and get his laundry done.  I also need him to clean out the garage if the weather breaks. All this must be done by next Sunday when he goes back. I’m not sure if Nichole will be around to bring him or if I need to do that.   –  Note to self — Check and see deadline for tuition payment.

This week just flew by. After being gone for 4 days things get backed up quickly. Next week I’m gone for at least 2 days and possibly 3-4.  Busy  Busy Busy. (So why am I taking these few minutes to write this?  I guess I needed a mental break)

Weekend weather doesn’t look too good so it’s a good time to finish up indoor stuff before heading out Sunday afternoon.  I need to make flight arrangements for the trip to Vermont over Easter weekend. Tonight we’re going out to dinner with Justin. On Saturday we’re going to a neighbor’s place for their daughter’s birthday party. One of the Macedonian familes that love to party. Should be fun.
