Bob Seger Concert

I’m listening to music by Bob Seger getting pumped up for the concert.  Justin is taking me to see him at "The Q" in dowtown Cleveland. He’s one of the musicians we both enjoy. Hard rock enough for Justin with enough melody for me. I saw him 30 years ago in Montreal and he stole the show even though he was only the warm up band.

Last year we saw him get inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame (here in Cleveland). The concert starts at 8 and then we’re heading to a Christmas party. It’l be a nice evening.

Justin just got his official grades this term. He ended up with a 3.45. Not too bad. He was hoping to get the A- in Chemistry but instead he got a B+. OSU uses the + and – in their GPA calculations. If he can maintain that level he’ll have no problems. He’s home now until Jan 3. We’re leaving for the East on Dec. 21. Boston for 3 days with Diane’s sister and family, 1 day with my brother in NH and then 3 days in northern Vt. I’m looking forward to getting "home" for a bit.

Sunday we’re going to exchange gifts. We always do it early since we’ll be gone. Nichole will come over and join us. She’s become part of the family since she and Justin have been going out for 3 years now. She’s also at OSU and that’s allowing them to stay close. She’s a nice girl and we both like her.

On the work front I got a surprise "outstanding" rating from by boss this year. I always do well and knew that I had a good year but didn’t expect the rating he gave me. It means a few thousand more in my bonus which is nice too with college tuition.
