I have to make a decision soon. I spent all of yesterday getting to 13,567; by this time, Will had already come home and clocked in at 15,100 something before going to sleep. Now he’s at 18,655. That’s already 5k ahead of me. There are several things that will inform my decision:
- School MUST come first
- I have to work
- I have to sleep sometime
- Will has more free time than I do
My choice is to either really amp up this NaNoWriMo thing, or give up and tell Will that I’m not going to have time to keep up with the pace he’s set because I have too much to do with school; I have multiple projects going on.
So what do I do? He’s trying to hit 25k by tomorrow. He’s already so close. I need to write 5k just to catch up with him and I"m meeting someone at 5:30 and meeting someone else at 7. Then I have homework to do so I can go to school prepared tomorrow.
I’m going to see how far I can write today. I’m not sure I’m going to run a full night’s sleep. I might just try to pull an all nighter. If I can pass him before tomorrow morning, I’ll keep up with this race. If not, then I might just have to tell him to have fun and that I’ll chug along at my own pace somewhere between him and everyone else.

can you cut off his hands? Or lock him in a room with no computer for a day or 2? I would, but I’m not a very fair player in a competitive environment lol xxx

i’m back at work tomorrow, and I have to put some time in on that big paper that’s due next week, so my writing will be slowing down, too. Ah well, if i finish by the end of the month, i’ll be happy. ^_^
