home again!

Back from California. Reasonably good trip. Too tired to try to write about it. So that makes this entry short and lame.

While I was gone, Scott:

~boarded up and completed a wall where there used to be a door in the living room

~put up a new layer of drywall on the ceiling to go over the top of the asbestos

~brought home my piano for my birthday

~textured one of the walls

~only slept half an hour one night to get all this stuff done

And I am glad to be home.

Welcome back!! Sorry if I was a freak when you came to visit at the hospital. It was really good to have you guys come and see her. Thanks for making time before you left. RYN: My dad charges 65 dollars for a tuning, and if you have to do a pitch raise – like it hasn’t been tuned in a long time it’s 25 dollars more (cause you have to tune it twice.) I don’t know if you ever need to tune it 3 times. Good tuners either use a tuning computer or do it by ear, bad tuners use guitar tuners or another instrument to tune the piano to. Where are you living now?
