Dreams and School Stuff
I had a strange dream this morning. I wish I could remember the details, but basically the military rejected me and I couldn’t have been happier. For some reason, I think my boss was taking us all to join the military, but my attitude got me booted before I even finished the paperwork. Or maybe it was because I ruined a form (one of those bubble in your answer sheets) because I decided to write comments on one question. And then when they handed me the for regarding my rejection to sign, there were more bubble questions for me to answer. I answered the ones I had quetions for, but I saw sections of bubble that were filled in by somoene else but had no corresponding questions. Suspecting information about me was being recoreded but not shared with me, I refused to give them the form until they explained what those were answers to or else I’ll erase everything I did not write myself. Mostly to just be a nuisance and make a scene I guess. I have no clue how the process works, but it was a fun dream. Although, some military people were offended when I was happy that I had no chance at being in the army.
I have no idea why this came up. Work has been fine and all. School is fine too because I’m not in classes right now. I do have my books for my next classes – the earliest I’ve ever had my books! It was getting to be normal for me to go the first four to six weeks of class with no books. 🙂 Now I’ve actually read the first chapter in each book to get a head start. I’m taking two foour-credit courses this semester: Pre-Calc (Tues-Thurs) and Networking Theory (entirely online). Yeah, I’m a nerd, but I like to be prepared. I hate going in to class blindly – I want to know what I’m getting into.
That reminds me, I should be getting a third invitation from Phi Theta Kappa soon. I’ve ignored their first two invitations because I can’t help but be a skeptic when it comes to clubs – oh sorry, I mean “societies”. I’m more convinced that they’re legitimate now, so I’ll join this time. I dread their induction ceremony – I hate ceremonies.
pre-calc? ~shivers~

ryn: You’re so right! I am always finding stuff (little spongy balls, my keychain) in my shoe. Or my bed. I swear the little guy is a lot smarter than we think. I strongly dislike math of any kind, but for some reason I seem to be really good at it. My high school pre-calc was really just a means for sizing up the attractive new teacher, but I came out on top of the class. Tis a sick world.

You should join Phi Tete Kappa, it is good for networking and it stands for something good.

i think it seems so all of a sudden because i barely write about things any more, but it was starting to feel like chris wasn’t as commited to the relationship as i was. it’s not that i don’t feel like he cares about me, but i don’t know if he’s ready for a serious relationship. i don’t know what will happen next. only time will tell.
